You will learn how to confidently press record, create stable footage, light your scenes effectively, capture clean audio, and keep your editing process simple and stress free. This class is not about perfection. It is about empowerment, clarity, and walking away ready to add video to your offerings without feeling overwhelmed.

Attendees are encouraged to bring a tripod or monopod for the hands-on portion of the program.

Benjamin Davis

Benjamin Davis is a chief imagineer, filmmaker, and marketing and content strategist who uses storytelling to capture the essence of memorable moments, compelling conversations and engaging visual campaigns. Whether he’s giving couples a timeless recap of their beautiful wedding day or providing businesses with enticing visual campaigns, he develops visuals that captivate and evoke emotion.

Benjamin is the leader behind Yamean Studios and Mckee Place Creative, an award-winning brand strategy media agencys who work with brands and businesses to develop meaningful content and engage people with actionable brand experiences that spark human connection. Through his passion for innovation and culturally relevant work, Ben has helped to produce media, strategy and campaigns for clients including Macy’s, Eaton, Nikon, Pro Football Hall of Fame, and the United States Marine Corps just to name a few.

Benjamin is also the Director of Marketing and Communications for Girl Scouts River Valleys, where he leads transformative brand, digital, and content strategies designed to inspire girls to lead boldly, engage communities, and reshape narratives around leadership and opportunity. His work at Girl Scouts focuses on driving large-scale campaigns, elevating storytelling across multiple platforms, and building strategies that grow membership, partnerships, and impact.

Benjamin and his wife, Natasha, also have a strong passion for capturing love stories. Their weddings have been featured in People Magazine, Martha Stewart Weddings, BRIDES, Style Me Pretty, Essence, Munaluchi Bride, B Inspired Magazine, and Grace Ormonde among other blogs and publications. Natasha and Benjamin also have dedicated their time to teaching the next generation of filmmakers through a series of workshops, mentorships, and speaking engagements.
