What is a TCPPA Workshop?
A TCPPA Workshop is an in-depth training event on a specified topic, usually 3-4 hours (or more) in length held the day before or after our scheduled monthly events. All TCPPA workshops are led by an instructor or featured speaker. TCPPA Members and guests pay an additional registration fee for workshops. Locations may vary. Attendance is limited for most workshops, and registration is on a first-come first-served basis.

Attendees should have an intermediate to advanced understanding of photography, particularly in using
both flash and continuous lighting. Experience with manipulating lights is crucial for making the most out
of this workshop.
Lighting Secrets for Stunning Studio Portraits
This hands-on workshop will explore creative lighting techniques using a variety of lighting tools, including Profoto Lights, RGB Constant Lights from RotoLight and Apurture, and various backdrop options.
Attendees will dive into both technical and artistic aspects of lighting, learning how to shape, modify, and control light for optimal results straight out of the camera. We will cover different lighting setups for portrait photography, focusing on achieving dynamic range and contrast while minimizing post-processing.
Attendees will also have access to various stands, ceiling rack systems, and backdrop options to fully explore their creativity.
