Live Demonstration With A Model
This program includes a live shooting demonstration with a model, where Cris will:
Create ten unique portraits using one light source
Show how subtle changes affect expression, mood, and dimension
Demonstrate the flexibility and quality of a simple lighting setup
Watching the process unfold live gives you insight you cannot get from slides alone.
MEET OUR FEATURED SPEAKER
Cris Duncan
Cris Duncan, along with his wife, Deanna, own and operate C J Duncan Photography in Lubbock, Texas.
They have had the honor of photographing everything from weddings to families to corporate clients and even two Presidents. For more than 20 years, the Duncans have been published in numerous national magazines and acquired many industry accolades including several GIA (Grand Imaging Award) category awards. However, what means the most is their daughter, family and the life they lead working together in the art form they love. The Duncans can be found educating creatives at events across North America.
Cris is the founder of Find Your Focus Education™ and the director of the Texas School of Professional Photography. Cris is a Master Photographer, Master Artist, a Photographic Craftsman and a Certified Professional Photographer. In addition, Cris is a regular instructor at Imaging USA and Texas School of Professional Photography, and he is an approved Certification Instructor. Cris was the awarded the PPA Educator award in 2024 and is an alum of Goldman Sachs 10K Small Business Program.
