This full day business intensive workshop is designed to help photographers strengthen both their craft and their business with clear, practical guidance from Jeff Dachowski.
This workshop is designed to help new photographers get started in the right direction and support intermediate photographers who feel they are not getting enough return from their current efforts.

What is a TCPPA Workshop?
A TCPPA Workshop is an in-depth training event on a specified topic, usually 3-4 hours (or 6.5 hours+ to qualify for a PPA service merit) in length held the day before or after our scheduled monthly events. All TCPPA workshops are led by an instructor or featured speaker. TCPPA Members and guests pay an additional registration fee for workshops. Locations may vary. Attendance is limited for most workshops, and registration is on a first-come first-served basis.

The Art of Selling
with Allison Tyler Jones
In this hands on workshop, Jeff will demonstrate how he photographs the core genres produced in his studio, including single subjects, couples, and families. He will walk through three simple lighting techniques he uses to create images that inspire clients to proudly display their artwork on their walls.
Jeff will also dive into the business of photography, helping attendees craft and refine their approach to branding, marketing, sales, production, delivery, and installation.

Who This Workshop Is For
This workshop is ideal for beginner and intermediate photographers.
Beginners will be exposed to foundational concepts they may not have encountered yet, while intermediate photographers will revisit and strengthen core principles that often get lost over time.

What to Bring:
Students should come with an open mind and a strong desire to get more out of their craft.
You are welcome to bring a camera, laptop, and notebook or notepad. Bring your own lunch.
Please come dressed to be photographed, if possible. Jeff will be creating portraits of and for attendees, making this a great opportunity for a new PR image.
MEET OUR FEATURED SPEAKER
Jeff Dachowski
In high school Jeff quickly fell in love with photography. After pursuing any class related to photography, Jeff attended the Hallmark Institute of Photography.
In 2003 Jeff and his wife Carolle opened their studio in Manchester, NH. They enjoy a loyal following of children, senior, family, and commercial commissions.
Jeff has photographed events throughout North America, the Caribbean, and Europe since 1992. His work has been featured on covers of over a hundred publications.
Jeff is a PPA International Approved Juror, a Vatican Approved Photographer, and the Past President of the Society of XXV. In March of 2024, Jeff completed his 9-year commitment to serving PPA and finished his term as the PPA Chair.
Jeff has been awarded the Honorary Master of Photography, Master of Photography Degree, Master of Wedding Photography Degree, Photographic Craftsman Degree and is a Certified Professional Photographer. In 2018 he was awarded the Imaging Excellence award from PPA. He has been awarded the PPA National Award and earned his Distinguished Colleague of Photography and Silver star from the NH Professional Photographers Association.
In 2012 Jeff and Carolle purchased a building with a storybook past in the small village of Bedford, NH. Their studio was featured in Professional Photographer Magazine in 2008, 2013, and 2019.
Jeff coaches many studios all over the country helping them to get the most out of their businesses so that the studios serve the owner, not the other way around.
Jeff and Carolle are the authors of two titles for Amherst Media: Lighting on Location: Professional Techniques for Portrait Photographers and Profit Building for Pro Photographers: Pricing, Sales, Marketing, and Branding.
Jeff has two wonderful daughters age 23 and 25 and has been married to his wife, Carolle, for over 30 years.
